This is a beautiful composition. You have captured a fantastic sense of atmospheric quiet, and the temperature of the piece feels genuinely cold.
Key Takeaways
The Glowing Horizon: The soft, pale yellow wash breaking through the center horizon is excellent. It creates a striking, warm contrast against the cool winter blues and grays, perfectly giving the impression of an early morning sun trying to burn away the chill.
Beautiful Soft Textures: The way the distant line of evergreen trees softens into a misty, hazy wash on the right is exceptionally well done. It gives the landscape true depth, making the forest feel like it recedes naturally into the background.
Grounded Tree Structure: The large oak tree on the left has a wonderful, twisting structural presence. The exposed roots reaching into the banks and the textured, dark barks anchor the left side of your composition beautifully.
